SWANSEA

Situated on the South Wales coast, Swansea, is the second largest city in Wales. It is the gateway to the famous Gower Peninsula with its breath taking beaches and scenery. Just across the bay from Swansea is the quaint fishing village of Mumbles.

It developed into a major city in its own right during the 18th and 19th centuries. Mainly due to the heavy industries that exported its commodities through its docklands.

With most of the heavy industries gone, Swansea, has had to reinvent itself in the modern age. This has been and is continuing to be done successfully with ‘IT’ emerging as its new major industry.

As a direct consequence of this the once busy docklands are being utilised and thoughtfully converted into modern apartment complexes. They greatly benefit by their close proximity to the city centre as well as Swansea Bay.
